Activities at Peak Pioneers
At Peak Pioneers, we believe the mountains are the best classrooms in the world. We work with nature to provide age-appropriate, unique activities for our young adventurers, from bouldering and climbing to archery and wilderness skills.
Our itineraries are designed and run by incredible mountain guides, and we bring in specialists each week to help with the extra activities that enrich our programs, ensuring that every experience is both educational and thrilling.

Our Principles
Safety First, Always
Children thrive when they feel secure. We prioritise physical safety and emotional wellbeing above everything else, creating an environment where children feel confident to explore, take on challenges, and be themselves. We have strict 1:5 ratios, and group sizes will never be bigger than ten.
Nature as Our Classroom
The natural world is the best teacher we know. We use the outdoors not just as a backdrop but as an active part of every day, where terrain, weather, and the living world around us spark curiosity and offer lessons and experience no classroom can replicate.
Part of Something Bigger
We believe the best experiences are shared ones. We build a genuine community where every child has a role to play, connections are made across backgrounds and borders, and the values practised here - kindness, empathy, looking out for others - travel home long after camp is over.
Learning Through Experience
Real confidence comes from real experience and ownership. Children are challenged at the right level, given genuine responsibility, and supported to learn through hands-on exploration, helping them develop resilience and self-belief along the way.
